Working like a dog?

At the risk of turning this into a doggy blog:-

Our Little Black Dog usually keeps me company in the office in the afternoons. While his leg has been out of action he's been keeping me company for most of the day.

So while I'm at my computer trying to turn a mess of thoughts into comprehensible English that the people at Council can understand and (hopefully) approve, he has his own way of entertaining himself.

How many people would give up an opportunity to have this lifestyle to become a mere human?

...Approximately None

Oh boy you're loving this blogging thing! Do you get any work done? (I only ask this because I don't!!)

Work? What work?

A doggy blog is allright!

Sometimes I wish I was an animal whose only items on their List Of Things To Do were sleep, rest, change position, eat, etc.

Can you give me some perspective that might encourage me that my life is probably better in some eternal sense?

OK, so I'm certain that there have to be some advantages... I'll think of one any minute...

Maybe there's enough in it for a post.

Wish my dogs would lie in the corner like that. One likes to get under the computer desk in front of my feet, the other lies directly behind me.

Yep, you guessed it. I stretch my feet out and I kick Bella. I push back my chair and I scrape Ziggy. Call the RSPCA someone please.
