My Listless Morning

I've had a big start to the week, with a million things to do before getting to my desk to blog ...err ...work.

At 7.30 I was heading off to Prayer Breakfast (having already done my 30mins rowing - aren't you proud of me?), then to the Hospital to drop of the Pastoral Care on-call phone to this week's victim... I mean Pastoral Carer, then to get some money, then to get some groceries, then to put the groceries away.

My brain often short-circuits when I have to remember multiple things. I was so intent on making sure that I took the charger with the phone, and remembering the camera so that I could take photos of the chapel and one of our volunteers. I forgot my shopping bags. And my shopping list. I'm not certain which is worse.

I like lists, and this morning I definitely needed a list of things I had to do, which would have reminded me that I needed my bags and my list.

So although I remembered a few things that weren't on the list, I forgot others. And I had the stigma of being the young woman loading large numbers of plastic bags into the back of her car.

How many environmentally sustainable people are here working in my home office?

...Approximately None

Hi Jen .... I forget the green bags ALL THE TIME ...

Now I see on my feed direct link thingo that you are coming in thru Clifton - darlings downs clifton ?? if yes we were almost neighbours ... spent most of 2006 and 07 in Toowoomba ... lots of good memories ...

as to the link thing - don't fret it :) it is no biggie ... see the little bracket thingo in the tool bar of a new post - that is it.

In your post - when writing it - highlight the word you want to link, click on the greenish linkie thing and it opens a box, copy and paste or just type in the link URL address thing .... done ...

And BTW I love your pup - LBD seems to be smiling right at me in that pic :) le

Hey, if they're in your kitchen cupboard they're not in landfill, right? And if you hoard the world's plastic bag supply it will force other people to use green bags. That makes you an environmental warrior!

Everyone needs bin liners from time to time.

I'm here from SITS roll call!

((hangs head in shame)) I don't have any reusable bags yet for shopping. I keep meaning to get them and then constantly forget.Which doesn't bode well for me if I actually ever do get them because more likely than not, I'll forget to even take them with me.

Sometimes, every day is a Monday for me.

Femina and Crazy sister, thankyou for making me feel less shame! LOL.

Did you know I work for an environmental group......(hiding now)

Jen, I never look twice at people with plastic bags... if the supermarkets keep dishing them out.. well.. (actually, they need to teach the checkout kids how to pack properly, then we would use less)
