The Rainbow in my Granny's Garden

This morning was a little foggy. This usually means it will clear to a beautiful clear blue sky day, but not today. Today was cloudy and there must have been odd spots of actual precipitation from time to time, if things that were dry, then were no longer dry are to be believed. I never caught it happening, though.

About mid-morning I looked out to our view to see a shadowy rainbow. And I tell you for certain that one end of it must have been firmly planted in my Grandmother's front yard.

Walked around to her this afternoon, but how many pots of gold were sitting about the place?

... Approximately None! *sigh*

Sigh. Bet it was a beautiful view though. You should have called her when you saw it and told her to check immediately. That way you would have been sure the rainbow WAS THERE while the garden was searched. Guaranteed discovery of pots of gold.

Or Grannie's holding out on you.

Did you put the effort in and actually DIG, or just do a half-hearted walk around the garden? Come on, you need to meet the leprechauns halfway at least.

I was just about to write "DIG" when I saw Femina's response. Lol.

Oh, I never heard the dig part of the legend. I guess I've missed that opportunity, then! And Grandma might have appreciated me digging the weeds out of the garden, too (but maybe not the lawn).

Well I'm just assuming you need to dig. Surely they wouldn't just leave pots of gold lying around in the open?

Oh! You found as many as I did!
