We had a few heavy showers yesterday.
Most of this afternoon was steady rain.
The tank overflowed.
The drainage line in the paddock behind us was wide and deep.
The water was over the road to the little town I need to drive to first up tomorrow.
I LOVE RAIN!
I have spent a considerable portion of my life waiting for rain.
My town here has had maybe two decent seasons in the last 20 years.
All the rain everyone got from the cyclones was patchy around here, in fact rain often goes around my town.
But this afternoon was glorious, and the chance I didn't enjoy it?
... Approximately None!
It's still messy, but I think I am growing

We had a couple of days of decent rain too. It was fantastic and made me wish once again that I have a water tank. Not that I have a proper garden on which to pour the water, but it seems like such a waste not to collect the rain. RAIN! Awesome.
I agree! I have been loving it, despite the fact that it has dampened my spirits with the whole wetting-all-the-clothes-we-owned thing. So depressing to have everything washed and dried on Monday, then put in the [leaky] pergola because rain is coming, and then soundly drenched before you can fold it. SO much spinning, tumble-drying and folding to be done today!
Oh RAIN... I don't even mind if we get flooded in... *happy sigh*
