Maybe...

We have a women's relaxation retreat for church this weekend.

Okay, so the majority of women think they are going to a QUILTING and relaxation retreat.

I'm not.

I do have, however, a project to do and have got all the bits and pieces together.  Including the fact that my red and black inks arrived from Pencraft in Adelaide this week in plenty of time for the weekend.  They are wonderful and have great service - even suggesting a substitution for what I wanted when my first choice was not in stock and might not have made it in time.

I'm planning on taking some photos, but I won't necessarily have internet connection.

Watch this space...

And the chance that any of the quilters are likely to want to work next to me and my red and black ink?

... Good thing too!  I'd hate my ink to get all spoiled by contact with fabric.

What are you going to be doing with that red and black ink?

When this came up in my reader I misread which blog it was, and thought it was a post from a blogger who happens to attend my church. I was confused and a little hurt to hear there was a women's weekend to which I had not been invited. Okay, I'm not a quilter, but geez... no need to HIDE it from me. Oh, hang on... Approximately None. Never mind.

Anyway, have fun! :)

Sounds fun Jen, I hope you have a lovely time! Oh Sue Ellen, I feel sorry for your moment of sadness. (Also, sorry I had a chuckle... totally the sort of thing I would do!)

That's an intriguing little teaser and my day will be filled with musings as to what will be accomplished with red and black ink - very special red and black ink at that. Images of red back spiders are running through my head at the moment, but will await photographs with anticipation. Have fun with the quilters though.

How was your retreat, Jen? Any pics of you playing with your ink?

Seems that you have retreated into a Black [and red?] Hole......

I'll get around to it. The problem is the job didn't get finished, and I hesitate to post progressive photos when it will finish half-way through.

A little matter of an assignment and a holiday slideshow to organise before I can get back to it.

I'm not REALLY complaining, but have you gone into hibernation or purdah? I know you haven't expired because of the occasional comment on other blogs and FB.....
Your last post left all your readers in a state of expectation that has never been resolved.
