I've received a couple of "nompliments" in my time... Here's my theory. Add up the good words, subtract the bad words, and if your in surplus, you win!
Sooo... Winsome. Good! +1 Academic (ally). I vote... Good! +1 Incorrigible. Could possibly be perceived, just a wee bit, as bad.... unless of course, you are sticking to your guns about some disputed theory. That just makes you tenacious. So probably -1, maybe not...
Add 'em up and we get a score of either +1 or +3! It's a win!
I'm trying to fit as many Biblical Studies subjects into my degree as I can. It is just possible I'm stretching some limits whilst so doing.... but in the nicest way possible...
I am 30-mumble, married, and I work from home.
We have approximately no children which is the biggest conversation killer for meeting new people. A dog just doesn't seem to cut it for the purpose of mutual child-related bragging.
I was always mad-keen on horses, although I haven't ridden for years. I also have a masochistic desire to learn ancient Greek. One of the few words I can remember is that for a passion for horses, hence the name.

Well done you :)
The best response I've heard yet to such a remark is 'got any forehanded compliments there?'
So... you ignore the rules, but gosh-darn you're adorable while you're doing it?
